I've been the gift person for as long as I can remember. Even as a kid, I was the one who knew exactly what someone wanted before they did.

That instinct became my career. I spent years as a fashion buyer for some of Ireland's leading department stores, buying across menswear, womenswear, beauty and lingerie. I travelled to Milan, Paris, Rome and London, working with brands and staying ahead of what's next. I loved every minute of it.

Away from work, I've always been the shopper in my family, finding the gifts for my dad and my sister, and the friend people text when they need the next great thing: a beautiful getaway, the perfect piece of clothing, the gift nobody else would have thought of.
